Snowflake embroidery project.

An embroidery winter project.

More Emotional Support Chickens

A few more Emotional Support Chickens I made. My mom celebrated her 99th birthday with her chicken she named Henrietta. The blue and white chicken is for my son in law who is a Dallas Cowboys fan.
This is the only quilt I started and finished in 2024. It is my "snuggly sweater" quilt. The sweater material and template was from Missouri Star Quilt company. I have had the poinsettia material for a number of years.

Scotty chenille dog

This Scotty Dog is made out of chenille. I found the chenille at the Madison quilt show. He has a place of honor sitting on my Mom's bed.
Don't get rid of any chenille bedspreads.

Entralac scarf

This scarf is knit using the Entralac technique. I used Noro yarn.
I decided to do a 2 x 2 ribbing for this pair. I am pleased that they fit well. This pattern is Summer Lee's from her book "The Sock Project."
Meet my first Emotional Support Chicken.

Halloween socks

I have added a black chain stitch. These were made using 9" circular needles.

Mittens

These 21 color mitts are made with Woolstok (100% Fine Highland Wool).
I will use the pattern again but with just 1 or 2 colors.

Hat made with 2 strands togheter

This hat is made out of 100% Merino Wool made in Italy. It is knit with two strands of yarn held together.

Fan and Feather pattern

This shawl/scarf is made using the fan and feather pattern. The yarn is from Southern Skeins 2022 Advent calendar.

Harry Styles Cardigan

After Harry Styles won a number of Grammys in 2023, I started watching Youtube videos of him performing and practicing. During one of his practices he wore a knit sweater with bold bright squares. I fell in love with it and decided to make it for my daughter. I used a chunky yarn just as the original. It was fun watching videos of others making their Harry cardigan. I spent most of my time from March 2023 to the beginning of September 2023 working on "Harry."

Hat

This hat is made from 70% alpaca and 30% extra-fine Merino wool. This is Really soft! The pattern is something I have never made before. It is called the Farrow Rib.
