Banners for the year

I started this project at the beginning of January hoping I would finish them by the end of the year. First I had to applique all the items, quilt and hand bind them all. I have a hanger that can be used for all. After a good pressing after being packed away since May hopefully, the recipient will enjoy them.

More pillowcases.

It is fun to make pillowcases for kids using material they will enjoy. The blue material has dogs with pink bows all over it and the other pillowcases has Mindcraft fabric.

Even my mom likes to have a new pillowcase with her favorite color pink.

Knit headband.

Sometimes you don't need a hat but just something for your ears.

Scarf finally finished!

I finally finished this scarf I have been working on for a few years. I bought the yarn from Willow yarn which is part of Herrshners located in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

I think it was supposed to be longer but I decided it was long enough.

Goldilocks and the 3 Bears

One of my nieces had a baby girl. While in a Texas quilt shop I found the panel.

Reproduction fabric quilt using the 1953 Pfaff

I collected what I would call Civil War fabrics for a number of years. I used my Mom's 1953 Pfaff sewing machine to sew the squares together.

Jelly Roll Quilt in Pink

I finished the binding on the JellyRoll quilt. My mom asked for another quilt. Her favorite color is pink.

Eco-bag

Sometimes you want to make something simple. This Eco-bag is made out of a fabric panel that looks like it has been knit.

Cowl

Though the weather in Wisconsin has been warm I decided to make a cowl for the winter months that will soon be here. I received this yarn in a yarn swap.

Tiny House Quilt

In the summer of 2020 I took part in a block swap of houses. The swap originated in Australia. I collected blocks from Australia, Spain, Canada and the United Kingdom. About 1/3 of the blocks I made. If you look closely you can see Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin houses. Some people chose to label the houses or use fabrics depicting where they were from.

Quilt for a Wedding Shower gift

I used the patterns from 3 of Lori Holt's pattern books. I chose the blocks especially with the recipient in mind. She grew up on a dairy farm and is marrying a dairy farmer.  The tractor needed to be red to match the tractors her Dad had. She likes gardening and baking. She has a collie dog. The dog in this picture doesn't look like her dog but is somewhat the same color. The apron used material from one of her great grandmother's aprons

Purple sparkle hat

I made this hat for my daughter's birthday.  It was a really easy pattern. Yes, the yarn has sparkles in it.

Lighthouse quilt finally finished

My TV room is decorated with lighthouses. I put the quilt together in 2018,  it was quilted in 2019, and finally, put the binding on February of 2021.

Colorwork hat

This is my first attempt at colorwork. (working with more than one color in a row.)

Christmas quilt

This Christmas quilt was a 6-month project. Each week  I received a free block by designer Pat Sloan to add to the quilt. I really enjoyed the poinsettia fabric and decided to use that instead of making other blocks. the last picture is the quilt being loved.

Caps and Scarves

I made these caps and scarves as birthday gifts and just because. Hats are one of my favorite things to make. These went to a part of the country that doesn't need hats very often. If they need one, they will have one.
