Chevron batik

I made this quilt during a sew along with Alyssa Thomas of Penguin & Fish. It is a Christa Watson pattern. I had saved batiks for quite a while but never really knew what to do with them. I found the perfect pattern..Christa's Charming Chevron quilt. I haven't decided how I will quilt it.

Temperature Blanket

I made this temperature blanket for my sister. It depicts the temperatures of 2017 usually the high temperature of the day. From 30 degrees to 90 I used 5-degree increments. Below 30  degrees I used 10-degree increments. According to the temperature blanket only 3 days we had temperatures above 85 degrees. The beginning of the year we only had 3 degrees that the high temperature was below zero.  I would like to make another temperature blanket but would try a different stitch. I used the stockinette stitch for this blanket. Knit 1 Row, Purl 1 Row.

18" Dog Pillow cover

I made this 18"  envelope pillow for my daughter who has 3 dogs,  a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a Husky and a St. Bernard. I think it would be a great Mother's Day gift from the pups to their "mom." I used a panel for the words.

Ohio Star Version

Look closely! No 2 blocks are the same. Some have the same pattern but different fabrics. I did many quarter square triangles. My daughter has claimed this quilt.
This quilt took over a year to make.
