Splendid Sampler - Block 8-12 and 2 Bonus Blocks

Each Sunday and Thursday I eagerly await the release of the next block. The past few weeks we were given some Bonus blocks, also. My precision is improving.  My embroidery needs work but I was very happy with the finished block. I purchased some felted wool at our local quilt show to use in some of the applique. I love doing the button hole stitch with wool applique. Instead of using pearl cotton I used embroidery floss instead.

Even though I will continue to receive blocks until February 17, 2017, I am already wondering how I will put it together. Right now I am thinking a 1" sashing in a light green or light lavender.
