Knit Cow hat

This hat was made as a baby shower gift.

Both parents are involved in farming.

The book One-Stitch Baby Knits by Val Pierce was the inspiration for this hat. The book has lots of great easy garter stitch patterns.

Rocket Quilt

 This rocket quilt was for a baby shower gift.

The quilting in the top left corner is a half sun with rays radiating outwards.

Jelly roll quilt

 

This is a jelly roll quilt. Or more precisely a jelly roll race quilt. I had it completed for a few years but didn't know how I would quilt it. I decided to use the fancy stitches on my sewing machine. I really enjoy the colors.

Socks

 

My daughter challenged me to make socks. I hadn't made any in 10 years. I learned a lot. I hope she enjoys them.

Deconstructed

 This quilt will be for a wedding gift. I had this quilt displayed in the Twisted Threads quilt show. 

Wisteria challenge quilt

I am part of a Quilting group called The Twisted Threads. Every Spring we sponsor a quilt show. The public as well as those under 18 are encouraged to enter their quilts, also. Our group has a challenge open only to group members. This year the challenge was to use applique and at least 20 buttons.  My Wisteria quilt was my entry. 
 

Fabric Vests

 These vests are from a fabric panel. The decorative stitches around the outside really make the difference.

These are additions to my Mom's (age 96) wardrobe.
